Manav Jain

I build products
that go from zero to scale.

Backend, frontend, firmware, and the teams that ship them. Currently driving Performance Labs at Ultrahuman.

I like the hard, ambiguous problems the zero-to-one bets nobody's run yet. I've learnt a framework in two days to ship a government app to 1.8M people, scaled a platform 40×, and led teams that own the work from spec to on-call.

Performance Labs

Ultrahuman's in-clinic diagnostic offering, built end-to-end. I owned the entire patient journey — booking, check-in, station-by-station data capture, AI-generated health reports, and doctor review.

  • Patient flow
  • AI reports
  • Clinician tooling

UH Lite

HealthKit / Health Connect product for non-Ring users. Ported sleep, recovery and movement scoring to phone-only data — unlocking the market beyond Ring owners.

  • HealthKit
  • Health Connect
  • TAM unlock

AI Translation Pipeline

An AI localization pipeline that scaled the app into Arabic, Turkish, Vietnamese, Dutch and Polish — five new markets, shipped without a human translation team.

  • LLM pipeline
  • 5 languages
  • i18n

Controlled Firmware Rollouts

Built controlled, staged DFU rollouts that de-risked every Ring firmware release — bringing software-grade release safety to hardware in the wild.

  • OTA / DFU
  • Staged rollout
  • Risk control

Code360 Platform

Scaled sessions 40× (50K → 2M) through deep codebase optimization. Shipped Guided Paths, Contests with leaderboards, proctoring and data filtering — and led the team of 4 building the React Native app.

  • 40× scale
  • Contests

Fault-tolerant Lead Engine

A fault-tolerant lead-delivery system to the calling CRM that became the company-wide standard — plus an immutable order ledger and a custom A/B + rollout engine for logged-in and logged-out users.

  • Distributed
  • Immutable ledger
  • A/B engine

The path

Government to edtech to health-tech — always close to the metal and the user.

  1. Shipping across backend, frontend and infrastructure — driving several of the company's biggest product bets from zero to production, owning each from spec to ship to on-call.

    • Led the end-to-end build of Performance Labs, the in-clinic diagnostic product.
    • Delivered UH Lite for non-Ring users via HealthKit / Health Connect.
    • Built the AI translation pipeline — 5 new language markets.
    • Engineered controlled firmware rollouts de-risking every Ring DFU.
  2. Wore many hats across technology, data and product through hyper-growth.

    • Led the growth team — lead conversion, attribution & prioritization across landing pages, checkout, enrolment dashboards and 3rd-party integrations (Leadsquared, payment gateways, cAPI).
    • Built a fault-tolerant lead-delivery system that became the company-wide standard, an immutable order ledger, and a custom A/B + rollout system.
    • Scaled Code360 sessions 40× (50K → 2M); shipped Guided Paths, Contests, leaderboards & proctoring.
    • Led a team of 4 building the Code360 React Native app.
  3. Partnered with the Maharashtra government to build a health-tracking & contact-detection app at the onset of COVID-19.

    • Backend lead — learnt Express.js in two days and wrote the Python contact-detection pipeline from scratch.
    • Led a self-volunteered remote team of 5.
    • Scaled to 1.8M users and 4M requests / month.
  4. Tackled two-wheeler road safety in India with a platform that incentivizes better riding.

    • Led a team of 6 across a multi-stakeholder application suite.
    • Built a patent-pending hardware solution to detect tilt, speed and riding behavior.
